On Tuesday, June 7th, VANTEC and NACO will join forces to bring two NACO Academy workshops to Vancouver. NACO Academy is an education platform for Angel investors that leverages the expertise and experience of seasoned investors to share their best practices with their peers in local communities across Canada. Angel investors and those interested can register for either of two courses, 209: Board Governance or 304: Best Practices for Angel-backed Companies, which will be running simultaneously. The modules are taught by subject matter experts and include panels of industry leaders. The course is 4 ½ hours long with a lunch break and coffee service.

This module will give ecosystem partners and entrepreneurs insights into some of the best practices used to build successful startup companies. CEO’s following these best practices will give confidence to investors about the management of the company, build support through transparency and engagement and keep interests aligned towards the growth of the company.
