VANTEC Burnaby is a monthly forum and networking event where advisors, entrepreneurs and potential investors view ten or more 90-second pitch presentations by entrepreneurs on their businesses. This is not an open forum style of event - it is private, informal and organized by volunteers. Attendance is open to anyone for $50 and free for members of the Vantec network and their registered and confirmed guests.
Promising early-stage companies are invited to pitch and at the event, through a voting process, the top three will receive the opportunity to attend a pre-screening meeting for VANTEC Vancouver. If selected, they will be provided a five minute presentation at an upcoming VANTEC Vancouver forum. If they are not selected, they are still guaranteed a 90 second spot at a future VANTEC Vancouver event.
