We are looking for a Community Manager to join us on a part-time freelance basis in a long term relationship. This is a new position that is virtual (10-20 hrs/month) and in-person (5 hrs/month) when we're meeting at VentureLabs downtown Vancouver, every first Wednesday of the month between 12 and 7 PM.
The VANTEC Startup Visa Program is looking for an Administrative Assistant for about 10 hours/week to help run events and to help manage our process.

You can sign up to join a pitch practice session at the VANTEC Pitch Circuit that is hosted several times per month. The best companies of the night will earn a Pitch Preview slot at a next VANTEC Meeting.
You can ask a VANTEC member to nominate you and apply to Pitch at VANTEC by completing your application on Gust.
I would like to attend but I'm not a member
You don't need to be a member to attend. You can purchase a non-member ticket for any event. You may also connect with a member and ask them to invite you as their guest.
I'm an entrepreneur and I applied to pitch, do I need to buy a ticket?
No, entrepreneurs and their sponsor who have been confirmed to pitch don't need a ticket.

How to get there
From Vancouver Airport
A taxi that will get you downtown in 30 minutes or less at a fixed rate of $30.
You can take the sky train to Waterfront Station for $8.
We are at a 5 minute walk from the station, just one block south, and one block west.
From Seattle
From Highway 5 continue onto Highway 99, which turns into Granville Street across the Oak Street Bridge (across the Fraser river), and continues downtown, across Broadway and the Granville Street bridge, where you choose the right off ramp onto Seymour Street. Continue straight and turn right on West Hastings and you have arrived.
